Hosanna!

"So it is ourselves that we must spread under Christ’s feet, not coats or lifeless branches or shoots of trees, matter which wastes away and delights the eye only for a few brief hours. But we have clothed ourselves with Christ’s grace, or with the whole Christ ... so let us spread ourselves like coats under his feet ... let us offer not palm branches but the prizes of victory to the conqueror of death. Today let us too give voice with the children to that sacred chant, as we wave the spiritual branches of our soul: ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel’" --St. Andrew, Bishop of Crete (early church father)

I am at home.

It is perfect. The sunshine is dancing in sparkles on town lake, breezes that flew in special delivery from heaven are making the leaves whisper secrets of old to those willing to listen, verdant pastures are hugging every corner of the places i love, the sky is only outblued by the bluebonnets bobbing their merry heads about in the first April winds, and the beer is as darn good as it ever was. It is filling the spaces of my heart that have longed for momma and dad, and my home home home for all of these months.

I am getting up with the birds tomorrow to make it to UD for Father Robinson's funeral, so I’m keeping the rambling to a minimum.  I shall speak through my photos tonight.

i want this cooler pretty much a lot

Without further ado, Texas and I greet you with a kiss of beauty.

I pray you all will be drawn into the Heart of Jesus as we leave the desert to join Him on Calvary.

"We are going to commemorate the Passion of our Savior; let us strive to prepare ourselves for it by great purity of heart...We shall see Him, during this coming Holy Week, on the tree of the Cross, consumed for Love of us...opening His Heart to place us therein." St. Jane Francis Chantal
