hello, again

I have travelled across many lands and a few time zones over the past 3 weeks, and there is much to know and to be known.  Instead of endeavoring to recap in a cohesive manner the places I have seen, the thoughts I have thoughted, and the people I have loved in these past 3 weeks, I am just going to let the chips fall where they may.  There shant be a kronos timeline to my summer soujourns, but I rarely dwell (interiorly speaking) in kronos time, so it will be more fitting to my experience of reality if blog it all bit by random bit.

I begin with few words and lots of photos of the splendid celebration of my Aunt Susan’s 60th birthday celebration.  It was a mini family reunion of sorts, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate a beautiful life we are all blessed to know.  There was typical Dehan fare that came in the form of talent shows, singalongs, and lots and lots of cousins and aunts and uncles everywhere.  Woven in it all was the Love of our Creator, blessing us in unexpected ways.  The most unexpected was the rather cool (for the end of June in Texas) weather, that allowed for a back porch beer drinkin’ good time.  If the weather wasn’t convincing enough of our Lord’s presence, the sunset that captivated everyone’s awe certainly was.  Without further ado, I give you Susan’s 60th birthday bash.  Cheers to you, aunt Susan! Here’s to many more years of celebrating God’s Love for you!
