Rose tinted TGIT

It’s TGIT and it deserves acknowledgement.  Because it’s almost Friday, which means (in case you are not an obsessive compulsive weekend enthusiast) that it’s almost the WEEKEND.  Suckers.

I looooove weekend.  It tastes as good as a Nutella crepe fresh off the press on a French street corner.  So, it deserves recognition.  Which I am giving it on the good ol’ blogaroo.  I am short on words and long on introspection (in true introvert form) these days, but I have taken some photos that I dig.  They really aren’t much to write home, but I just like them.  They contain things that give my day little doses of life and beauty and joy.

in honor of Our Lady, because it is her month
Like cleaning the kitchen in the Spring with the screen door ajar in the most comfortable clothes I own.  And taking time out of such a busy project to photograph the socks that I was rocking.

Becuase, well, I am a rainbow hunter, and if in the process of cleaning the kitchen I realize I am seriously rocking some rainbowish socks/there is a rainbowish coffee container about, there must be photographic evidence.

please appreciate the clear evidence of my freakishly awesomely long second toe
And then there are roses.

They are blooming like it was their one and only mission in this life these days.  No holds barred. The pink ones are pinking with all of their might, and setting off lanterns on Church exteriors in a way that clamored for photos.  Thus, I obliged.  Because roses and I are tight like that, and I know what they’re thinking.

And that’s it for TGIT.
Keep it real, keep it fresh, keep it funky.  And, above all, Expect the Unexpected.  Because that is the kind of God we serve.  Unexpected, untamed, and Beautiful.
