weekend pinks

Sometimes life gets too heavy for a melancholic introvert like me.  I get the navy blues.  And then, something happens, and life sparkles a perfect pink for a few sweet moments.  It doesn’t have to be big.  Just a moment of of unfiltered friday bliss.  Like I had today driving under a bright baby blue sky, with a song that makes my phalanges twitch with desire to bust several moves on a beach.  And I want to share this moment of sweet freedom. My brief but beloved journey from the navy blues to the peony pinks. The song playing now on the playlist (assuming you did not mute it at first hear) was the very tune of which I speak. Dig it, dance to it, live the top down, hair blowing lip gloss poppin' dream that this song completes.

Please, cut a rug to this song. If not physically, than at least mentally put a routine together. Or bop along in your chair.  Because, darnet, you are beautiful.  Whether you know it or not.  God’s Love makes you beautiful.  So rock the weekend out.  Do something that increases your awareness of the beauty of your immortal soul, and the glory we were all made for.  Go discover a new flower, give it a kiss, then ride a scooter, and dance.

Never before seen flower.  It had me at hello.
